Sha Tau Kok - a place that a Hong Kong person may never visit in his or her lifetime for no reason. Sha Tau Kok (especially the market) is a restricted area on the border, located in the rural areas of the New Territories, with rich ecological value and strong cultural background, and is also a good place for travelers to explore. It was once a traditional southern Chinese society, and was politically the border between Hong Kong and Shenzhen, with close ties to mainland China. As a bridgehead of the border, it was also an area that the British had focused on developing since the opening of Hong Kong. As a symbol of Hong Kong's history, it cannot be ignored. Today, after being closed for 60 years, this area faces impact of accelerated urbanization. More so than ever, it is necessary to have a better understanding of its history and cultural heritage in order to navigate its future development.

The book is divided into three parts: the first is about seasonal food, emphasizing the importance of eating fresh food in season, and pointing out what is good to eat in spring, summer, autumn, and winter; the second is about the food of festivals, both Chinese and foreign, which makes people drool and warms their hearts, because festivals are usually a time for family reunions; the third is about the author's deep feelings, from the cherry blossoms of Mount Yoshino to the memories of Leslie Cheung, to the author's father, with whom he had a difficult relationship, and the memories of his mother, who was inseparable from food. The book is full of knowledge about food, and is also very interesting. For example, Kanto sushi (nigiri sushi) and Kansai sushi (box-pressed sushi) are eaten in different ways, which many sushi lovers may not know. Did you know the difference between Italian gelato and ordinary ice cream? Did you know the meaning of each layer of food in the Japanese New Year's feast? Why is the turkey pardoned for Thanksgiving? The author has a wealth of experience in food and drinks, and his writing brims with emotions. With more than 300 beautiful pictures, it is like a visual feast that is overwhelming.

Hong Kong football has a history of more than 100 years and is the oldest football league in Asia. It is known as the "Asian Football Kingdom". Before World War II, many Hong Kong players represented China in the Far Eastern Games and the Olympic Games, and won nine consecutive championships in the Far Eastern Games. After the war, Hong Kong football experienced ups and downs, until the Hong Kong football team won the gold medal in the East Asian Games in 2009, which restored fans' confidence in Hong Kong football. The author hopes to review the rise and fall of Hong Kong football through this book, and tally the gains and losses of Hong Kong football development from history. The book also includes the wonderful "Cross-Generational Talk on Hong Kong Football" roundtable discussion. The discussion was fortunate to invite Mr. Huang Wenwei, a famous South China player known as the "Wunderkind Wei", and Dr. Ding Xinbao and Professor Lu Dale, who are fans, to attend and provide suggestions for the future of Hong Kong football.
