On the evening of March 17, 2006, tragedy struck in the pedestrian tunnel of Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui. Sin Ka-keung and Tsang Kwok-hang, two police officers, were ambushed by a lone assailant. From that moment on, a promising young police officer turned into a permanent patient, grappling with physical and mental trauma. The pain was so unbearable that he couldn't bear to look at himself in the mirror or take photographs. The past was too painful to confront. With the support of family, friends, fellow police officers, and medical staff, Jiafei gradually conquered his inner demons. He meticulously documented his recovery journey during his hospital stay, capturing every word, tear, and stroke of pain.
