"The War of Light and Darkness" is the first book in a whimsical sci-fi martial arts novel series. It follows the story of the Light Warrior, one of the seven warriors of the universe, as he battles against the cosmic ghost - Dark Charm. The novel explores the concept of spiritual power within the universe and the idea that with the seventh sense, one can connect with nature, borrowing its energy to gain incredible abilities and control over surroundings. It also introduces the protagonist, Guang Yongzhao, a congenital heart disease patient who, after a personal tragedy, discovers a hidden gene within him, leading to the development of the seventh sense. As alien species appear on Earth, Guang Yongzhao sets out on a path of revenge, undergoing rigorous training to become a Light Warrior with the guidance of a guardian.
