Awakening Century 1: Minerva's Owl

On Jujube Mountain, a community of people led simple lives, tending to their farms and worshiping the hidden Earth Goddess of the mountains and forests. Huohuo and Minerva, who grew up in this forest, found solace in each other's companionship. Huohuo, preferring the sunlit fields and fluent in the language of birds, was timid around ordinary people. Minerva, accustomed to nocturnal walks, carried a natural melancholy and cherished her owl companion, longing to leave the forest behind. One summer, the life-giving river that sustained all things mysteriously ran dry. Huohuo and Minerva were tasked with a mission to venture south in search of a sacred spring that could revive the river's flow. They journeyed through the Forgetful Jungle, the river's source, and even traversed the treacherous Demon Cave. Along the way, they encountered the prince of Yucheng, a half-beast man, and encountered various gods. Huohuo, battling his inner turmoil and nearly succumbing to the labyrinthine maze, found salvation with the help of Minerva's owl. Little did he know, as he embarked on this new chapter of his life, a vast and unfathomable conspiracy loomed in the shadows.
