This book is the teaching notes of Professor Lian Haopeng, a historian from Hong Kong, covering the development history of the first fifty years of the founding of the People's Republic of China. The teaching targets include undergraduate students and master's students in Chinese history at the University of Hong Kong, as well as high school Chinese history teachers.
