Hong Kong circa 1990s in Black and white

"The images collected in this book are all selected from photos taken by the author in the 1990s. Hong Kong experienced rapid development in the 1980s and he found that many familiar sights and people were slowly disappearing in the 90s, including old-style residential buildings, squatter areas, resettlement buildings, villages in the New Territories and outlying islands, as well as episodes of life on the street. Some of the sights themselves are not really anything to be proud of in Hong Kong, but they are all an important part of Hong Kong's history. At that time, I just wanted to document them before everything disappeared, and there may be some value as a record in the future."
