30th Anniversary of the University of Macau: Memoirs of Former Presidents
2011 marked the 30th anniversary of the founding of the University of Macau, and in 2013, the Hengqin campus of the University of Macau was officially completed and put into use. The current president of the University of Macau, Professor Zhao Wei, proposed a creative idea: to compile a commemorative collection of essays for the 30th anniversary, inviting each former president to write a piece to review the university's development over the past 30 years and their personal experiences. Although the writing styles of the presidents are different and their views may vary, even on the same event, their views are equally valid and respected. But it helps retain the original flavor and support freedom of having an opinion, while providing readers with credible historical materials. Reading the personal experiences of the presidents is like flipping through the extraordinary years of the University of Macau. Although it has gone through twists and turns, its firm steps forward are like the sound of footsteps in an empty valley, ringing and shaking, urging people to move forward. The book is trilingual in Chinese, Portuguese, and English, and is richly illustrated.
