Li Tianxin, an eighteen-year-old student from CUHK, embarked on a four-and-a-half-month volunteer journey in twelve countries. This unique book uses travel experiences as a lens to delve into the lesser-known cultures of various places, gained through engagement in activities such as environmental protection work in Hungary and participating in garbage collection in Denmark. It reflects on life from a youth's perspective, delving into philosophy and global issues, with the hope of bridging the understanding between parents and their children while inspiring young people to pursue their dreams and aid others. Highly recommended by Professor Fung Ying Him from the School of Journalism and Communication at CUHK, and writer So Mei Chi, this book resonates with the theme of volunteering, emphasizing the ability to find personal philosophy through selfless service. So Mei Chi acknowledges the timeliness of Tianxin's journey, noting the significance of courage in challenging times.
