Cancer is not like other common diseases, and there is still no specific drug that can cure all cancers. Western or Chinese medicine treatment alone is not as effective as integrating both Chinese and Western medicine. In terms of diagnosing cancer, Chinese medicine is far less accurate than modern Western medicine, but it views the person as a whole and has unique insights on the overall health condition, which plays a significant role in the success of treatment. This book summarizes different medical cases and shares corresponding therapeutic diets for common cancers, such as lung cancer, nasopharyngeal cancer, and lymphoma. It advocates the integration of Chinese and Western medicine, focusing on symptomatic relief, improving the quality of life of patients, and achieving "harmonious coexistence" with cancer. The book also introduces different anti-cancer and cancer-preventing foods and herbs that can be used for daily health care, cancers in the early stages, and cancer recovery.
