The trajectory of his career evolves through distinct stages: a decade of teaching in Singapore and another in Kuala Lumpur. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he made significant contributions to the field of free radical chemistry, which continue to resonate today. Subsequently, he served as the president of Nanyang University and the University of Hong Kong for a cumulative period of eighteen years, displaying unwavering dedication to strategic planning and operational excellence. Throughout his life, he wholeheartedly devoted himself to the realms of education and academia, persistently and assiduously contributing until his retirement.
