In the current state of baseball in Hong Kong, this book is not easy to come by. For years, baseball players, coaches, clubs, and associations have been circling around issues such as venues, resources, training time, and support. Baseball is not a school sport, and young players naturally do not participate as much as basketball, football, and other sports. Those who persist and make it the Hong Kong team are trapped in a dead end loop. Hong Kong has no "full-time baseball players", they have to rush to the only training ground in the city after work or school, but the training time is insufficient. They have to compete with world-leading baseball giants in international competitions, and they are simply out of their league. Without a good result in international competitions, it is impossible to fight for more resources from the government to improve players' technique and popularize baseball... Despite the difficulties, many people are passionate about baseball, and they are determined to persevere. In the 1980s, we had the Swallows team that created history by defeating the Japanese Little League team; in the 1990s, we had the exclusive association of baseball; after the millennium, we finally got a dedicated training ground for the Hong Kong team, as well as professional referees, coaches, and the new milestone of having the opportunity to go abroad as a professional baseball player. Although it cannot be said that baseball is taking the city by storm, the seeds have been sown, and after being irrigated by the passion of several generations of baseball enthusiasts, it is hoped that the seedlings will one day bear fruit. This book chronicles the dreams of 10 Hong Kong baseball players. Through their stories of inheritance, we see the history of baseball in Hong Kong, looking back at the past and looking forward to the future.

Pui Ching, which started as a small school in Suicheng in 1889, has been dedicated to education in Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Macau. Founded in 1933, Hong Kong Pui Ching Middle School upholds the spirit and tradition of the pioneers, shoulders the mission of education in the changing times, actively responds to the needs of Hong Kong's social development, encourages young people of different ages to pursue growth comprehensively, and becomes a cradle of elite. This book follows the timeline to sort out the development of Pui Ching Middle School, which is closely related to social changes and also portrays changes in local education policies. While reading the hundred-year history, we see how a famous school cultivates students with comprehensive and diversified ethos through six aspects -- morality, intelligence, physical education, group, beauty, and spirit; and how it closely follows the changes of the times, with a firm educational philosophy, excellent teachers, and campus facilities, setting an example of a century-old famous school.

Ip Man, the first-generation Kung Fu master, made his way to Hong Kong from Foshan and taught martial arts, gradually expanding Wing Chun to different communities. Today, "Ip Man Wing Chun" is included in the "First Hong Kong Intangible Cultural Heritage List", which recognizes his significant contribution to the spread of Wing Chun culture throughout his life. What were his martial arts philosophies? How was it passed down from generation to generation? And how did it develop in Hong Kong and then spread to the world? This book explores Ip Man's history of teaching Wing Chun in Hong Kong. The book is divided into three chapters. The first chapter covers the spread and development of Ip Man Wing Chun with information collected from old photos, newspapers, magazines, advertisements, and letters; the second chapter traces the Ip Man Wing Chun inheritance system, and describes how Ip Man's son and disciples have passed on and conserved the spirit of Ip Man Wing Chun, making an impact throughout Hong Kong and the world; the third chapter discusses the creation of films and how they differ from reality, the production of documentaries on intangible cultural heritage subjects, the success of Ip Man Wing Chun as a cultural phenomenon, and analysis on production considerations and filming difficulties, allowing readers to be inspired by the development of cultural conservation today.

"Do you still believe I can fight?" "I do." For the sake of brotherhood, they gave everything. The promise they made in their youth was never forgotten. "If you lose, get out of the boxing ring!" The fight on the stage was already over, and all the grudges and grievances were left to be told by their fists. "You lost the moment you signed the contract." The invisible hands of the conspirators hinder his path to the top, like the cruel reality mocking the dream chasers. "Are you willing to give up everything just to stay by my side?" People only have two hands, and if they wear boxing gloves, they can't embrace their loved ones. "Look, we finally met at the summit." Amidst the cheers of the crowd, the referee raised his hand.
