Life is akin to a fleeting moment of flower viewing, much like the process of cherry blossom viewing. While the flowers may seem rich and beautiful from a distance, a closer look reveals their sparse and withered nature. Yet, from a certain distance, the scattered journey can appear prosperous, akin to viewing it as a stranger would. Life, like flower viewing, is best suited for distant observation and reflection, especially when it comes to one's own life. Others always seem to be thriving, while the present often feels inadequate. What lies beyond the fearless leap? It's something that those lacking courage will never experience – the fleeting beauty of heaven and earth, offering a full view of magnificent prosperity. The author, Wang Yixing, is the youngest winner of the Chinese Literature Biennial Award, and while he prefers writing over artistry, he believes in love, but not in marriage.

This book can be regarded as the academic autobiography of the philosopher Li Zehou. The editor, Ma Qunlin, was one of Li Zehou's closest friends in his later years. Mr. Ma spent more than ten years compiling relevant content from Li Zehou's works, articles, and letters, and after reorganizing, arranging, and writing, he revised the book three times with Li Zehou's review and revision. The entire book is presented in a question-and-answer dialogue format, which is vivid, direct, and easy to understand, and can help the general readers (especially young students) understand Li Zehou's academic career and ideological system. The book also includes some precious photos that are published for the first time, such as letters from Feng Youlan, Hu Sheng, Qian__, and Yu Yingshi to Li Zehou, which are extremely valuable.

In a city filled with absurdities and daily chaos, standing out becomes a necessity. The concept of an outstanding youth is explored, shedding light on individuals who proclaim hard work and success, only to contradict themselves and display two-faced behavior. The city's tendency to promote such individuals and glorify their shortcuts to success is criticized, questioning whether their version of success truly represents fulfillment. The passage reflects on the facade of achievement and the city's misguided ideals of success.
