Academics tap into social innovation
The Research and Knowledge Transfer Office (RKT) of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) published the Cubic Zine in 2019. Through regular interviews with scholars, sharing of global social innovation cases, and the latest industry news, the publication aims to encourage more people inside and outside the university to understand social innovation and create social impact.
This book collects Cubic Zine articles and covers more than 20 stories of CUHK scholars. Starting with "innovative thinking", the book then moves through various contexts such as "vulnerable groups", "physical and mental health", "people and the environment", and "life and culture". The interviewees come from various departments, including anthropology, psychology, educational psychology, linguistics, physics, electronic engineering, architecture, public health, journalism and communication, and life sciences, showcasing the impact of CUHK's diverse research areas.
