There are people who became physically disabled for various reasons. They experienced the lows of life, but ultimately pulled themselves together for meaningful lives thereafter. They relied not on their legs, but on their wheelchairs; they need support of those around them, and a change in the social mindset towards the disabled. Four journalists interviewed 12 members of the Association of People with Disabilities, recording their tortuous life journeys and inner struggles in this book. They hope to deepen the public's understanding of the disabled, and to gain inspiration and encouragement from their stories.
