The New Politics Revolution and Japan: China 1898-1912
This book fundamentally revises the analytical framework of China's modern revolution. The author believes that what shattered the Chinese imperial government model and its philosophical foundation that had lasted for more than two thousand years was not the political revolution centered on Sun Yat-sen and his companions in 1911, but the revolution of thought and system centered on the New Policies of the late Qing government from 1901 to 1910.
