Time and Space Investigation Department 6: Tour in Pompeii ancient city

An Italian investor, Mr. Pino, has been kidnapped. The Time and Space Investigation Department received a tip that the kidnapping was orchestrated by the Poison Wolf Group, who even sent kidnappers with the ability to time travel. To rescue Mr. Pino, the Alpha Team traveled to the city of Stabia in 55 BC, but accidentally let the kidnapper escape. The most likely place they would escape to is Pompeii. So, the Alpha Team decided to go to Pompeii - an ancient city that would be destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius a hundred years later. However, when they found Mr. Pino, he refused to leave and even climbed Mount Vesuvius several times. Why is Mr. Pino behaving so abnormally? Was he threatened by the kidnappers?
