Macau's economy during the transitional period

This book is a collection of papers on the Macao economy published by the author over the past 20 years (1998-2017). The content covers four major categories of Macau's economic development. 1. Overall development: Based on Macau's comparative advantages in resource endowments, this paper puts forward the leading industries and strategic positioning of Macao's economic development after its return, and deeply analyzes its overall economic development, the brilliant achievements it has made, and the deep-seated contradictions and problems it faces. 2. Macau's industrial development and moderate diversification: from the perspective of industrial development, this paper analyzes in depth the economic and social effects and potential risks generated by the rapid development of Macau's gaming industry under the background of opening up gaming operating rights, and puts forward the basic path and relevant strategies for Macau as a micro-economy in promoting moderate economic diversification. 3. Finance, finance and capital consortium: analyzing the fiscal policy of the Macau Special Administrative Region government since its return, including fiscal revenue, fiscal expenditure, fiscal reserves, fiscal management and other aspects, and exploring the transformation of Macau's economy in finance, finance, and capital consortium. 4.
