The Centennial History of Chinese Communist Party in the Literature

2021 marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. This book selects one rare document or document set for each year as a preface, presenting the most representative historical event of the year, thus linking the unremitting struggle history, theoretical exploration history, and self-construction history of the Communist Party of China over the past century. The book is so organized to reflect the historical periodization of the Communist Party of China in the vertical direction, as well as a comprehensive event selection and broadness of the perspective in the horizontal direction, while using original documents and the excavation of historical details in the narrative method. This book contains 100 rare documents, 380 historical pictures, and 167 annotations, which are rich and detailed, leveraging storytelling techniques to present history. Especially, it focuses on telling the moving stories of heroes, role models, and ordinary people in a particular era, making the book not only voluminous but also vivid and interesting.
